This Society owns the collection housed at the Museum and runs it with the help of volunteers, who are responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of the Museum, the cataloguing and conservation of the collection and opening of the Museum to the public.

Membership to the Society is $20 for individuals. Payment is due on the 1st July each year. Benefits of membership: free access to Museum, research material, vote at meetings and AGM.

The Museum is open every day EXCEPT Christmas Day, Good Friday and Code Red Days in summer.

 

A roster of volunteers is needed so if you have a few hours to spare come and join the volunteers. We are a great band of people.

​

Committee meetings are held at the Museum on the 4th Wednesday of each month with a 7.30 start. The Annual General Meeting is on the 4th Wednesday in August. Everyone is welcome.
